GHIN
The Kansas Women's Golf Association is delighted to offer to our member clubs the GHIN Handicap Service of the United States Golf Association. GHIN is the Golf Handicap Information Network.
GHIN is the service company of the USGA which supplies Handicaps to associations such as KWGA and their member clubs. The GHIN service has been extremely successful for a number of reasons, one of which is the carefully planned and controlled growth rate. The USGA GHIN service is now providing over 1.5 million Handicap Indexes to golfers nationwide. The USGA intends to continue the growth rate that will allow them to provide the personal service and appropriate attention to every association on the service.
KWGA has chosen to endorse GHIN as a service to its member clubs. The USGA was founded in 1884 and has been a positive force in the golfing community since that time and will continue to be the leading force in times to come. KWGA was founded in 1915 and continues to improve and upgrade the services offered to their member clubs as well as the individual members.
The cost to each golfer, woman and man, is as follows:
$9.00 For the first GHIN number
$7.00 For a second GHIN number
Note: Honorary members will need to pay for the Handicap service

$9.00 R Regular (First Handicap Index)
$7.00 S Second (Second Handicap Index)
$0.00 J Junior (Golfer under 18 yrs old)
GHIN Handicap Indexes at one or more clubs:

GHINclub.net
All KWGA GHIN Handicap Service clubs will be reportless. This includes the ten clubs using the Paper Option. In order to receive reports for your golfers you will need to access GHINclub.net, select the report and then print the report or email the report to yourself.
In order to use GHINclub.net you must change the Exit default password, G12345, to something else--either change the numbers around or select a word or phrase. All the Paper clubs have been issued a password. Contact Natasha if you have forgotten the password.
The procedure for changing the Exit password on computers is as follows:
- At the computer, transmit
- Click on GHP Management icon
- Click on Preference Management
- Find “Exit Password” and highlight it
- Type in your new password
- Save and close
- Click on Exit
- Transmit
Now go home and log-on to GHINclub.net, type in 38 and your club number (no spaces) and your new Exit Password. Player Management is the tab you will want to check out what you can do. Everything you received from GHIN is available in Reports. You can either have the report sent to you via email and through Web Reports. It is important that you play around with the information – use Web Reports as you can see it on your computer.
